Completion of a feasibility study/business plan/marketing strategy into the demand for allotments.
Funded under Axis 3 through SWARD, the applicant undertook a feasibility study/business plan/marketing strategy project to determine if a viable business can be set up and if an alternative farm income can be derived from it. Project involved commissioning a suitable qualified consultant to carry out the above work. The project aimed to find out what the demand would be for allotments, what would need to be put in place to make them attractive (e.g. access to water, electricity, catering, supplies, sales outlet etc) and how best to brand and market them.
