Doagh Cultural Society Ltd
Doagh Cultural Society Ltd was formed in 2009 to promote the wellbeing of the residents within Doagh, Cogry and Kilbride areas.
Funding was awarded for a through floor lift in order to improve access to this community hub- and to make the upstairs community space available to all. The aim of this project was to enhance access for existing users- as well as allowing the facility to attract new user groups/ activities- therefore, giving this community hub the potential to be used to its maximum capacity.
The Society manages Doagh Community Hall which is a vital hub within the community in Doagh and the surrounding areas. It is currently used by the local playgroup, Doagh Village Community Association, Doagh Ancestry Group, local pensioners group, chiropodist clinic and the South Antrim Living Memories project as well as being hired privately by local residents and community groups as and when required.
