Construction of building to include offices, toilets, shower block, store, boatshed & reception area for Aghinver Boat Club.
Aghinver Boat Club has been in existence since 1973. The business runs a fleet of high quality hire cruisers on the Erne and Shannon, with the provision for a further 15 boats. The current individual boat usage is 17 weeks per year. Their main customers are from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. At present they employ 5 full time and 5 part time employees.
Funded by Axis 3, through SWARD, the promoter can provide additional and improved facilities to the current services that are on offer at Aghinver for patrons using the hire cruisers. A new building was constructed to include new offices, toilets, shower block, store, boatshed and reception area.
