To renovate the existing hall and build a new extension to provide modern, flexible facilities with a view to increasing the current usage of the hall
The Ballyblack Presbyterian Church Hall provided the only community space and social facilities to their rural community. The Hall, however, needed renovation and expansion in order to provide the basic services of a church and community hall to the congregation and wider community. It was hoped that, in addition, improved facilities on offer would encourage more local people and groups to make use of the hall.
Funding from DRAP allowed the Ballyblack Church Hall to improve and provide the basic services they offered the residents of the surrounding rural community, including new heating, furnishing and decoration, bathroom facilities and car parking..
