To refurbish and extend the Ballyward Masonic Hall to accomodate more user groups
After identifying the need for a cross-community, multi-functioning community space, the Ballyward Masonic Hall offered to lease their Hall to the Ballyward Rural Development Association for a minimum 25 year period. However, to function as a viable community space, the hall needed modernisation and extension to accommodate larger groups comfortably.
Funding from DRAP enabled the BRDA to renovate the Lodge and add a single-storey extension to the building. As a result they now have a larger kitchen and refreshment area, new toilets, a lobby, and a cloak room.
