To develop Farm Relief Services, an existing rural business, by modernising its equipment enabling the business to expand and to increase its existing customer base. The project involves the purchase of a cow scanner, a cattle weighing and freeze marking service (for the identification of animals) and will operate in the Ards Peninsula.
The business has been providing a scanning service for 10 years, and has established and expanded its customer base during this time. The applicant is also trained in the Dutch method of hoof trimming, and will provide this service as and when required by his customers.
