To install a 42kw Hydroelectric plant on the applicant's property.
Dr David McCluskey had identified that land he owned in Banbridge could be used to generate clean, carbon neutral energy using renewable energy resources. The land, which is on the River Bann, was originally an old beetling mill and the original weir was still in place. The applicant was carrying out repairs to the weir, and applied to DRAP for funding for the 42W turbine.
