PROJECT SUMMARY

Funding to assist in the commission, purchase and installation of modular building at the playgroup premises at 191 Derrytrasna Road, Derrytrasna, Craigavon, BT66 6NR.

BACKGROUND

The playgroup required modular buildings to extend their range of services.

ACTIVITIES

This building will allow them to continue providing their playgroup service whilst introducing a breakfast club, an afterschool club and using the building to draw in rental income from evening classes/meetings. Items funded: Design & Installation of modular building (specification in file)

BENEFITS

Project Objectives:

• To purchase and install equipment – by 30th November 2011
• To employ 2 p/t additional employees by 30th June 2012
• To provide 16 breakfast club places by 30th June 2012
• To provide 16 afterschool club places by 30th June 2012
• To Increase turnover to £45000 by 31st December 2012
• To Increase turnover to £48000 by 31st December 2013
• To Increase turnover to £52000 by 31st December 2014.

The playgroup can now provide breakfast club places and afterschool places for 16 children.
