In order to assess the tourism potential of using County Down’s Viking links, a series of study visits and conference calls were undertaken to assess the future viability of a full co-operation project.
The aim of this project was to research the tourism potential of the Viking links between County Down and other countries.
As a result of funding from DRAP, the applicant was able to carry out various studies, including background research and finding partner organisations, and travel to meet with stakeholders and communities to ascertain the viability of the project.
