The project was to develop a new childminding business in the Maghaberry area with the aim of offering 6 childcare places for the local community.
Research indicated that Maghaberry has been identified by the Northern Ireland Child Minding Association (NICMA) as an area requiring additional childcare facilities in the Rural Childcare Stakeholders Group Report. Independent research completed by the promoter also indicated that 43% of parents seeking childcare found it impossible / difficult in comparison to the 28% in urban areas.
Applicant received funding for relevant works including construction to establish Edenview Childminding.
