To expand a local business through the purchase of additional marquees and other equipment.
Jonathan McCamphill established a company three years ago specialising in the provision of outdoor catering and has since diversified into the hire of marquees for weddings, hospitality events and small garden parties with demand for his services coming from all over of Ireland.
Funded under Axis 3, through North East Region, to cater for a greater number of events and organisations the project involved the purchase 5 additional marquees and the necessary extras (i.e. marquee dividers, tables and chairs) which would then be available for hire. A dance floor, wall linings, roof panels and gable ends were also purchased.
The additional equipment enabled the applicant to meet customer demands and reduced the need to hire these in from other companies.
