PROJECT SUMMARY

Design and development of a new product which is flat pack modular storage furniture, which can be utilised in both the domestic and commercial/business markets. The unique selling point of this item is the fact that it is fittings free, extremely sturdy and the nature of the modular design means that it has limitless capability.

BACKGROUND

The applicants, Sean and Aidan Philips are the owners of new business FoldEaze, located in Jonesborough, Co Armagh. FoldEaze is the second business to be operated by the two brothers, who for 15 years have been operating Dale View Furniture, making and fitting bespoke handcrafted furniture for your home. Through the applicants experience in the joinery and furniture field they have developed and designed a new product that they wish to manufacture and sell through the new company FoldEaze.

• Supply and Fit roof insulation boards and rooflight skin.
• Remove existing partition wall and erection of new partition wall.
• Insulation of Extraction System and electricial work for new equipment

Project Objectives:

• To assist Foldeaze Ltd to establish a manufacturing base/facility in Jonesborough for the design, manufacture and production of new bespoke display units for home and office
• To purchase the equipment outlined in the schedule of eligible expenditure by 30th November 2012
• To achieve an net profit of £27,000 by 30th November 2013 (end of year 1)
• To create 2 new employment positions by 30th November 2013 (end of year 1
• To create 2 new employment positions by 30th November 2015 (end of year 3)
