Brian Duffy set up his own business when the company he was employed with were forced to reduce his working hours to a three day week due to the recession. To subsidise the loss in income from his main employment Brian set up a hedgecutting business. During th period September to March legally hedge rows can be trimmed. He undertakes this task on behalf of a range of clients including farmers and landowners who have a legal responsibility to maintain their hedgerows.
