PROJECT SUMMARY

Provision of a unique door to door beauty therapy service offering a full range of treatments which would include: spray tanning, pedicure, manicure, facials, and make-up to those who live in rural communities within County Down.

BACKGROUND

Janine Rice has worked in the beauty industry for approximately nine years, predominantly alongside corporate companies offering beauty related services. Currently residing in a rural area, she has recognised a need for a mobile beauty service which would be delivered within the rural areas of County Down. Janine Rice is a fully qualified beauty therapist and accredited TV makeup artist.

ACTIVITIES

• Engage in proactive marketing activities including design, development and implementation of a dedicated website, distribution of literature, business promotion with professional stand and branded vehicle  
• Employ sales/admin staff
• Attend 10 community based events to actively promote business during first year and 12 events per annum in Yrs 2 - 5
• Generate company sales from effective use of marketing
