To renovate an old stone building into a bottle storage facility which will be used for the storage of cider.
Andrew Boyd started making cider in 2009, at first just for his family but eventually registering the product. In 2012 he was approved by the HMRC as a cider and perry producer. To expand the business, the applicant needed to have somewhere to store the product. So he renovated an old stone building on his property, where the cider could be allowed to age for three months before being sold.
Funding from DRAP helped Andrew Boyd to renovate and equip an old stone building on his land to function as a bottle storage facility.
