Laserquest Ireland @ Escarmouche was set up by John McAuley in 2007 at Shane's Castle Estate, outside Randalstown, the aim was to provide all their customers with an amazing adventurous day out at a fantastic location. John saw a gap in the market to run a business alongside an existing paintball company on the land, targeting younger customers and consumers who wanted to take part in multiple activities. Having started the business on a part-time basis, John decided to take a career break and pursue this venture as a full-time occupation to develop the laserquest business.
Funded under Axis 3, through GROW South Antrim, The Adventure Park has a mixture of old style combat scenarios, in a forest style setting, which allows both a combination of concealment with an element of surprise. Also available at Escarmouche are multiple Game Zones. Urban Style Games can be played in 5 challenging environments set in varied terrain, each feature a mixture of bunkers and obstacles to create a dynamic combat adventure park. Escarmouche also offer a mobile service, taking the adventure experience to schools, community groups or even birthday parties.
