This project seeks to improve access to Moira Demesne for a range of people including families, walkers, wheelchair users and cyclists by upgrading the existing rough stone paths to rolled bitmac.
The bustling small town of Moira lies in rural surroundings approximately 8 miles south-west of the city of Lisburn and 15 miles from Belfast. The Demesne is located immediately to the north-east of the town and is accessed by the main arterial route into the town from the busy M1.
