Purchase of paint priming booth to further enhance and develop Maine Surface Finishing.
Eugene Dixon established a powder coating and wet paint spraying business, called Maine Surface Finishing, on the family farm twelve years ago, initially employing one person. This business has developed and now employs twenty people providing a range of paint and powder coating services and they have invested over £400,000 in the past three years on additional equipment and workspace. Eugene had received £99,150 in terms of grant assistance from North East Region in the past for the development of the business to install a new automated paint spraying booth and shot blasting machine.
Having identified a need within the business, Eugene then applied for assistance from Axis 3, through North East Region for the Paint Priming Booth, believing that this would prove beneficial to his business.
