A feasibility study to investigate a potential site to construct a wind turbine.  

BACKGROUND

Hugh Martin owns over 40 acres of farm land on the outskirts of Castlewellan. The applicant has identified a potential site to construct a 20 Kw wind turbine and is keen to investigate its viability further. The applicant is keen to use the natural surroundings as a means of generating clean, green energy with a view to increasing the income of the farm business.

ACTIVITIES

• To appoint a consultant to undertake the feasibility study.
• To complete and have in place a feasibility study and documents to support planning application.

BENEFITS

The outcome of the feasibility will inform Hugh Martin's decision as to whether a wind turbine.
