Feasibility study into the needs of 4 rural communities in relation to suicide / self-harm and emotional well-being.
This project was for an appraisal of needs of rural communities within the catchment as regards Suicide / Self-harm and Mental Health Well-being. They have already completed this for urban areas and addressed their needs by setting up 3 resource centres.
The aim of the research is to develop a substantial knowledge base that will allow the NLF and other agencies to better meet the presenting needs issues within rural communities. The information will be used to inform policy and practice of stakeholders who have a role in addressing issues related to Suicide, Self-harm and emotional well-being
