The purchase of equipment enabling the set up of a new business producing a range of organic soaps.
With an interest in producing organic soaps, the project promoter carried out research into the production of soaps producing samples and has successfully completed a Cosmetic Safety Assessment, allowing her to produce organic soaps containing a wide range of ingredients in line with the UK and EU legislation.
Following her accreditation and research into the production of fully organic soaps the promoter produced her first batches of soap at Christmas. These were used as gifts for friends and family and the word spread further a field which resulted in orders being requested by 3 shops in the UK.
She then developed a business plan and completed the start a business programme through Lisburn Enterprise Organisation.
