To establish a podiatry clinic within the rural village of Loughbrickland
Podiatrist Caroline Spencer identified the need for a podiatry clinic in the village of Loughbrickland, Banbridge. There was no service available to people in the community, with residents having to travel to Banbridge, Newry and Craigavon. The established clinic offers podiatry related services, including home visits, to the local community. However, the plan is to expand it into a multidisciplinary clinic, offering osteopathy, acupuncture, and sports rehab.
Funding from DRAP enabled the applicant to appoint a contractor to carry out construction and building works to convert existing vacant building into a clinic
