To refurbish the current Rathfriland FC club house to extend the kitchen area and increase the toilets available particularly for female and disabled users
After Rathfriland Football Club celebrated its fiftieth anniversary, they drew up a detailed action plan for the next ten years. One of the points in the plan was to improve the community space it offered to local residents and groups. The existing Function Room was popular, but limited in scope and offered limited toilet facilities. To service the needs of the local community, Rathfriland FC needed to extend the kitchen, modernise the toilets and add a disabled accessible toilet.
Funding from DRAP enabled the Rathfriland Football club to renovate the club house, improving facilities for existing members and attracting new users to the club.
