The restoration of an old stone farm building to include 2 Self-catering Units and associated marketing costs.
The project is based on the family farm at Derryneele, Roslea and is situated within the Sliabh Beagh Region. The Sliabh Beagh mountain straddles 'The Border' between the counties of Fermanagh, Tyrone and Monaghan. Due to its geology and the peatland flora and fauna, part of the remote rolling moorland has been designated as an ASSI (area of special scientific interest) in Counties Fermanagh and Tyrone. The applicant sought to take advantage of Fermanagh’s tourism.

The Complex includes a 1 and 2 bedroom Unit with an internal door between the 2 Units in order to facilitate larger families or groups.
A number of additional facilities will be provided including a childrens safe play area; drying and boot room and also kennels.
