Funding for new equipment to aid increase in productivity.
Spence Engineering is a family run business founded in 1961 and located at Tullynore Road outside Hillsborough. Positioned at the upper end of the market, Spence Engineering manufactures high quality excavator buckets for machines.
The promoter is currently experiencing operational problems with the 200 tonne hydrauloc pressbrake on which manufacturing output depends. Existing equipment is dated and does not provide the promoter with the flexibility to increase output and product range which would lead to new employment opportunities.
