The project aims to improve sporting facilities at The Links area by commissioning a feasibility study into the viability of a 3G MUGA pitch the study will involve technical assistance/ground sampling.
The Strangford Football Club, which was created with the aim of ‘providing and recreational activities for the district’ approached DRAP for funding to commission a feasibility study into the viability of an all-weather 3g MUGA pitch. The pitch would give the young of Strangford Village access to sporting facilities and benefit the village as a whole.
Funding from DRAP allowed Strangford Football Club to commission a feasibility study to assess the viability of a 3G MUGA Pitch at The Links, Strangford.
