PROJECT SUMMARY

To install a woody biomass district heating item to Tory Bush Self-Catering complex along with a photovoltic item.

BACKGROUND

Tory Bush Cottages are located beside Tollymore Forest Park, overlooking the Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland, just 4.5 mile outside the seaside resort of Newcastle. They recognised a need to be more environmentally aware which would also offer financial gains.

ACTIVITIES

• To have the biomass heating item installed and operational by 31st October 2013
• To have the photovoltaic item in place and operational by 31st October 2013
• To achieve annual savings from biomass heating tem over LPG of £4,000 by October 2014 and each year there after
