The purchase of new technology enabling the company to move forward with a range of new products which target key market sectors such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing and waste management.

Ballyvannon Joinery and Metal has been operating since the early 1970's in the Ballinderry Ward of Lisburn City Council. The business was created as a farm diversification enterprise and product range included pallets, storage racks, packing crates and repairs to farm machinery. The business has the ability to turn products around in a quick timeframe if machinery was updated therefore securing their existing customer base. Future growth of the company was hindered by the lack of appropriate technology to progress new concepts.

The applicant received funding for a pressbrake.

With funding Ballyvannon Joinery and Metal were able to develop as a business and increase their product range. The promoter also hopes to provide full time employment in the rural community.
