To sustain a local business and increase efficiencies through purchase of equiment and a management information system.
Hugh O'Boyle established his business, Carnoe Supplies, eleven years ago when he began selling bicycles, workwear and clothing to the local agricultural and manufacturing industries. The business has grown substantially and now employs eight full time and two part time staff with the main income stream being from the production of embroidered workwear and provision of general supplies to the hospitality and industrial sectors.
Funded under Axis 3, through the North East Region LAG for the purchase and installation of an additional embroidery machine and a management information system to include two laptop computers, barcode and document readers and other items of required software and bespoke training.
These items will allow Carnroe Supplies to track orders, process orders more efficiently and also capture customer trend data. There will also be the added benefit that sales staff will be able to remotely create orders on the system without having to phone in to office staff.
