The Barn, known locally as ‘Gracey’s Barn’, is located approximately 0.5 mile from the applicant’s home place and will be the site of the renovation to Self Catering. The barn was originally the home of a Mr Stanley Gracey who was a farm hand on the family farm during the 1900’s. It is this barn which will be converted into self catering accommodation. The applicant proposed to retain the original desing and layout of the barn along with original stonework which makes it so unique. Full planning approval was granted on 24th August 2010.
