The aim of this project was to build a balcony onto clubhouse to allow visitors to view shooting range and groups to mingle, and to build a toilet block adjacent to new shooting ranges.
Funding from DRAP enabled the applicant to fabricate and install a galvanised steel viewing balcony incorporating the existing fire escape. It also allowed the construction of a toilet block comprising of 2 facilities, 1 with disabled access, complete with all fixtures and fittings.
The aim of this project was to construct a static shooting shelter and retaining walls.
Newtownards and District Shooting Club is a popular shooting club that provides a wide range of facilities to users, including the use of a wide range of small and large calibre firearms that can be enjoyed in a safe environment. The club was eager to develop its reputation further, by developing an additional facility that would attract more users and would also potentially allow them to hold further events and competitions.
